Petnica Students' Science Conference

Petnica Science Center, the biggest independent nonprofit organization for out-of-school science education in South-Eastern Europe, organizes its annual students' science conference. Main target group of the conference is secondary-school students, participants of Petnica programs in 2008, but guest participants are welcome also. Since 2001 we had approximately 80 participants of the conference and 50 extraordinary papers every year. So far we had guest participants from Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Estonia, etc.
Petnica Science Center is located 100 km SW from Belgrade, near town of Valjevo. Accommodation for all participants will be provided within the Center.
All schools, educational and research organizations working extracurricularly with students of age 15-19 particularly interested in science are welcome to apply students and their research works for the conference. Deadline for applications of guest participants is November 5, 2009.
